Read the complete mode

A useful specification includes the pixel dimensions and refresh rate together. LG documents the 32GS95UE-B with 4K at up to 240Hz or Full HD at up to 480Hz. The 480Hz number does not describe 4K output.

Our catalog's refresh filter uses the maximum documented rate at native resolution. Lower-resolution modes appear separately on the card and product page, so a 4K 240Hz model does not qualify for a native 480Hz filter.

Check which input supports it

The same screen can support different timing limits over HDMI and DisplayPort. Check the exact input, your graphics hardware, cable requirements and whether the documented mode uses Display Stream Compression.

A game rendering below the display resolution and a monitor switching to a separate lower-resolution mode are different operations. Check both your operating system's output timing and the monitor's on-screen settings.

Use native resolution as the comparison baseline

Choose resolution for the workspace and image detail you need, then choose a refresh target your computer can use. The catalog does not estimate game frame rates from the monitor specification.
