Keep the panel label precise
Check the panel technology for the exact model. A brand name or screen size alone does not tell you whether it uses QD-OLED or WOLED.
Generations and subpixel layouts change. Avoid applying an observation about an older panel to every newer OLED carrying the same technology label.
Compare the screen you will actually use
Start with native resolution, physical size and your working distance. Then check the surface coating and the lighting in your room. Glossy and matte treatments describe the complete display surface, not a universal property of QD-OLED or WOLED.
For text-heavy work, examine the exact model's text rendering at your normal scaling and distance. Pixel density can be calculated from screen size and resolution, but it does not describe the subpixel layout or replace seeing the screen.
Finish with the model number
Check the full reference on the seller page. Similar-looking models can have different USB-C charging power, DisplayPort versions or refresh rates. Warranty coverage can also vary by region.
